Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Russian Parts Distribution Center receives ISO 9001:2008 Certification

On the 30th January 2017, Gleb Khotimsky, Director of After Sales, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and David Lane, General director of Tablogix, together with representatives of both companies, celebrated the achievement of ISO 9001:2008 certification for FCA’s Parts Distribution Center (PDC) in Russia. To mark the occasion and the success of the partnership FCA presented Tablogix with a flag and Certificate of Honor.

Tablogix has been managing the PDC since 2012 and Gleb Khotimsky noted how the effectiveness of this operation is important to FCA - "It's no secret that the auto parts - is the most profitable part of the automotive business. And one of the main success factors are the development of efficient logistics and high-quality service to our customers. Fiat Chrysler achieved significant progress in operations of distribution centers in Europe and received a bronze award for logistics service. And we intend to make every effort to obtain the silver medal. We believe in support of Tablogix. We see potential for further progress and continue to work together to achieve our goals."

Bureau Veritas Certification Rus conducted the audit of the PDC last September. The awarding of the certificate recognized that the Part Distribution Center fulfilled the requirements of FCA: introducing effective warehouse solutions, improving business processes and conducting appropriate quality control procedures. The Distribution center ships auto parts and accessories to dealers on time and to order to ensure customers of Fiat Chrysler have the best possible experience.

The PDC is located to the southeast of Moscow region in the Tomilino logistics park. A full range of auto parts for Fiat, Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge and Alfa Romeo are kept at the warehouse to supply the dealerships in 39 cities across the country. Spare parts of limited demand are delivered directly from the central warehouse in Italy, on average within 14 days. Besides the logistics functions the PDC provides information support to the dealer network and verifies quality of the products. It handles dealer requests, provides data for orders and delivery, organizes and controls the return of products and liaises with the transport company.
